FAQ
Do I need a second shooter?
Having a second photographer (aka second shooter) allows for different angles and extra hands on the day of! It also adds another layer of guarantees that all of the big moments are captured. My husband James is my primary second shooter, and he is truly fabulous at capturing angles and perspectives that I wouldn't be able to get by myself. You can book a second for just a few hours, or the whole day! A second shooter is never absolutely necessary, but is highly recommended especially if you and your partner are not planning on doing a first look before the ceremony.
What if I don't need an engagement session?
Even if you've had your engagement photos done by someone else, I'd love to have a couples session with y'all before your wedding day so we can get to know each other and you're able to see how my mind works!
That being said, I'm more than happy to switch the engagement session for a bridal portrait session or a couple session up to 1 year after your wedding (maybe y'all find out you're expecting, want Christmas photos, get a dog, build a house, etc!)
How do I book my date?
The first thing I want to do is meet you whether that's through coffee, dessert, or a video call. I'll ask you all kinds of questions, and will be prepared to answer yours! We'll go over a contract, and you'll reserve your date through a $500 retainer.
Once we're booked, I will send you a questionnaire to help us get everything straight before the big day! I want your wedding day to be as easy as possible, so building strong communication before is very important to me.
Payment Methods
Preferred payment methods: cash, check, Zelle, or Apple Pay.
I do also accept Venmo and Credit Cards but these require an additional 3% fee.
What can I do with the photos?
You can download and use a website like MPix, or you can print the photos straight from the gallery! This helps your photographer :-)
How do prints and other products work?
The gallery that I will send you will have the option to purchase prints straight from the website!
PHOTO BOOKS:
I also offer custom photo books that I can design for you! I will send you a Google Form to fill out, and will do all the hard work for you. These start at $80.
When will we get our photos?
I will send previews from your big day within 5 days following the event! You will receive an online gallery link with ALL of your photos within 10 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery but can also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
